Yesterday we went to Nonno's and the cousins were there, as were a few others....the snow was very powdery. After one run on the toboggan on his stomach (head first) and a mouth full of snow, he was done with that.....then he went with his almost 8 year old cousin....they were gaining some speed and he was laughing....until they hit a little bump that sent them towards a 100 year old fir tree that was probably 20 feet across....they were too fast and I couldn't get to them to stop them in time....nothing was broken, no one cried, and this is what he looked liked......before getting back on the sled!

As I retrieved him from under the tree, his eyes wide, his mouth full of stems and blood coming from the scratches, he smiled at me and said, "I ok"
