Trains, planes and automobiles

Adrien is such a boy, he walks with his hands in his pockets, he loves his mommy, he loves to climb, destroy sandcastles, wrestle and play with vehicles.

Whether it is an airplane or trains, the boy LOVES his "boy" toys. We were driving the other day near the busiest Canadian airport with planes landing and taking off every couple of minutes. He sat looking out the back window giggling and asking for more. When he couldn't see anymore, he would ask me where they were and I would respond "in the sky" He would look and look and when he couldn't see any he would telling me they were hiding!
A friend graciously donated a train table to us. I CAN NOT tear him away.....he sits there, moving the trains and cars back and forth, back and forth....laughing......such a boy.

♥Caisse Cape, NB♥

Rob's aunt and uncle have a piece of land with a trailer on it in Caisse Cape. The trailer is about a 3 minute walk from the beach..... It was beautiful....we were a 10 minute car ride from the house we were staying at, 20 minutes from Moncton and minutes from the ocean..... perfection.....

New Brunswick

We had a great time in New Brunswick. We drove.....enough said....it was ok....we made it through without incident. We spent the first week with family, just relaxing, not doing much. We went to the uncle's store, we went to some small towns, we ate hubby's favourite foods, we bounced on the trampoline and had a great time.
♥♥♥
Adrien had many short naps in this position as we were busy running about doing different things. This is him on the way home from Centennial Park on Canada Day, where he didn't even stay awake for fireworks....mind you, it was storming outside...

♥♥♥
We went to Magnetic Hill Zoo, where we did the whole zoo in an hour and a half. There were maybe 100 people there and raccoons in cages! Adrien LOVED the monkeys best....and spent time laughing at them talking to each other.

♥♥♥
The Ocean.....ahhh, the Atantic Ocean (Caissie Cape, New Brunswick).....we could have lived there.....Adrien LOVED running into the ocean with his bucket, filling it with water and running back to shore dumping it on the sand or on us...then he would laugh as he ran back to the water.... out of two weeks, we spent 5 mornings at the beach and it was heavenly.....there were many jelly fish (hence the water shoes) and the different tides allowed us different access to the sand and water... heavenly I tell you (I think....I mean, I know we will be spending more time at beaches this summer)

"La Dune de Bouctouche, known by its first inhabitants as the Great Little Harbour, has hiking and cycling trails that are part of the New Brunswick Trail system. There are 12 kilometers of whispering sands making up the dunes easily viewed from a boardwalk along a conservation area known as the Irving Eco Center.
La Dune de Bouctouche constitutes a 6.08 mile long ridge of sand formed over centuries by the wind and stormy seas. The dune has almost enclosed the bay area over its full length leaving an opening to the bay at its mouth that is a 1.1 mile wide opening and the dune is still expanding today." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouctouche,_New_Brunswick

We had a great walk there.....I LOVED it as did the 3 Amigos....Adrien, his dad and his great uncle!

After two glorious weeks in New Brunswick, filled with good Acadien Food, family, laughs and fairs, it was time to head home. Again, we left early and drove to Montreal....we arrived at 3:00 pm. (we got a great hotel room on www.hotwire.com) Where my great friend and her daughter joined us for an afternoon swim in a fabulous pool with an even better slide and dinner. The little ones loved each other so much......
